Mike Halpern

Mike was born and raised in the Bronx, relocating to Rockland county NY at age10.  Mike sites his early influences as Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Rush and a love of 80's Hair metal.  From there his sphere of influence grew to include Porcupine Tree, Pearl Jam, Warren Haynes, Chris Cornell, Richie Kotzen and “the greatest singer EVER Glenn Hughes.”  At 18, Mike joined Violet Voxx playing originals and covers in the Rockland, NYC and New Jersey area. After a brief break from the scene, Mike continued his musical career with the likes of Doz Boyz which played the East Coast Circuit as well as tours with Baddhabit and Iron Cobra.

Mike’s powerful vocals and his passion to entertain the crowd make him one of the most dynamic front men on the scene today.  His unique ability to cover both the Bon Scott & Brian Johnson errors of ACDC as well as the vast catalog of other artists the band covers to include Led Zeppelin, Def Lepard, Thin Lizzy, Dio, Alice in Chains, and GnR to name a few, enables the band to perform a wide array of Rock and Metal music for their growing fan base.

Mike says, “I've always loved music and play for the love of music.  I love to entertain and share a good time with everyone and enjoy sharing the mic with the crowd for entertainment purposes.
